"The studio re-engineered our daily rituals by turning a functional kitchen into a hidden sculptural installation. The precision of the integrated pocket doors and cold metal accents creates a breathtaking sense of absolute order.
An unyielding exploration of industrial restraint and concealed luxury, ANNUO redefines the boundaries of programmatic culinary architecture. Stripping away functional clutter, the design utilizes monolithic metallic volumes and deeply shadowed stonework to craft an intensely disciplined, highly immersive private sanctuary.
A towering, integrated brushed steel refrigerator core punctuates the layout, serving as a clean vertical anchor against a backdrop of dark, pocketed millwork. Precision-engineered slide-and-hide cabinet systems open to reveal beautifully texturized, faintly veined dark marble backsplashes, illuminated by continuous, razor-sharp linear LED bands. The entire lower landscape is grounded by a raw concrete floor matrix, while warm, horizontal timber paneling sweeps across the ceiling vault to introduce a necessary organic horizon to an otherwise clinical, ultra-premium environment.

The Stealth Culinary Gallery:
A fully integrated wall assembly that morphs from a clean, flush architectural facade into a highly functional culinary environment. Pocket doors slide away seamlessly to expose texturized stonework, hidden small appliances, and precise cooking arrays without interrupting the surrounding spatial flow.
The Social Axis:
An open-concept transition zone designed to merge the food preparation landscape with the broader living architecture. By utilizing uniform material lines and completely flush millwork hinges, the room maintains an unbroken, continuous sightline across the residence.
The Vaulted Pavilion:
Defined by its heavy structural overhead enclosure. Rich, linear timber planks line the sloped ceiling architecture, catching soft reflected light from the workspace below and establishing a deeply sheltering, warm atmosphere that perfectly crowns the sharp industrial textures of the space.

A highly calibrated, low-key industrial spectrum. Deep charcoal and dark basalt grays establish a heavy foundational shadow, contrasted by the bright, reflective sheen of raw brushed steel and polished metallic hardware. This cool-toned architectural canvas is beautifully balanced by the rich, amber-toned warmth of linear timber accents crowning the space.
Materials and Textures
Defined by high-stakes tactile contrast and engineering precision. The material narrative hinges on the seamless transition between liquid-smooth brushed metals, deeply texturized veined marble slabs, and smooth matte cabinetry. These cold, clinical surfaces are heavily juxtaposed against a raw concrete floor plane and the organic, soft grain of overhead wood millwork.
Furniture
Custom-tailored to completely disappear into the architectural shell. Storage infrastructure, cooking appliances, and shelving grids are entirely built-in or flush-mounted, eliminating external volume and allowing the pure, unadorned geometry of the cabinetry and metal profiles to dictate the room's physical boundary.
Lighting
Choreographed with surgical precision to sculpt hidden architectural pockets. Continuous, recessed linear LED strip lights run underneath every shelf tier, grazing the veined stone backsplashes with a sharp, high-contrast glow. By avoiding heavy ambient downlights, the perimeter boundaries stay tucked into a dramatic, museum-grade shadow while perfectly illuminating functional workspaces.
